Optimise Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis Search

Optimising the search is the third step in Refining a Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis. The Search tab provides options for configuring the KNA Search component.

  1. Select the KNA Search component from the Project Tree.
  2. Select the Search tab from the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Update – Update the KNA plot, if updating is required.
    • Search Range – Which search range parameters to evaluate.
    • Samples field group:
      • Min – Override the minimum samples count as specified in the parent KNA Samples component.
      • Max – Override the maximum samples count as specified in the parent KNA Samples component.
      • Sort By – Order the scenarios are displayed on the KNA plot. Select from:
      • Scenario
      • Kriging Efficiency
      • Slope
      • Negative Weights Sum
      • Negative Weights Count
    • Refine Discretisation – Refine samples to those selected on the KNA plot
    • Show Summary – Whether to add a summary overlay to the graph, displaying the KNA parameters used to evaluate the given discretisation values.
