Refine a Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis

When Refining a Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis you need to select the samples (or scenarios) on the plot to refine further in the next step. The steps below are generalised and can be used at any stage of refinement on the following components.

• KNA
• KNA Samples
• KNA Search
• KNA Discretisation

Activity Steps

1. Select the KNA component from the Project Tree.
2. Select either the KE/Slope tab or Neg Weights tab at the bottom of the Main Canvas.
3. Left-click samples on the plot to select or deselect them.

   Selected samples (scenarios) are more boldly colours compared to unselected samples.

4. Refine the samples by clicking Refine Samples in the Blocks tab of the Property Panel.

   Tip: You can also refine samples by double-clicking on any of the samples on the plot. Double-clicking on a sample displays the relevant child component in the Main Canvas.

   New child KNA components display under the parent KNA component in the Project Tree.
