Validation Probability Plots
Probability plots are used to observe the distribution of points in the data set (sample data or block model) and can be displayed in four different ways, depending on the axis scaling selected. The plot display options include:
- Cumulative Distribution
- Log Cumulative Distribution
- Probability, and
- Log Probability.
The Model Validation Probability Plot plots the probability that the sampled assay values in the underlying dataset(s) are less than a given grade value, overlain with corresponding values from up to three block model estimates.
Note: Block model estimates are weighted by the configured volume and density values. See Configure Model Validation Data Settings.
The Model Validation Probability Plot component can only be inserted under a Model Validation component.
Model Validation Probability Plots are configured in a similar way to regular probability plot components with extra options for data series colouring. See Draw and Configure a Probability Plot.
