Configure Standalone Trend Plots

The Slicing tab provides options for configuring Trend Plot components. These options are different from the options available for Model Validation Trend Plot components. See Configure Model Validation Trend Plots.

Standalone Trend Plots can only be used to assess Point Data, unlike Model Validation Trend Plots that compare Point Data with a Block Model.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Trend Plot from the Project Tree.
  2. Select the Slicing tab from the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Slicing Options field group:
      • Orientation – Orientation of the slicing report.
      • Granularity (m) – Granularity at which the slicing report is calculated.

Note: Changing the granularity causes the component to update and changes the interactive slice adjustment interval spacing.

      • Width (m) – Slice width.
      • Start – Start of the slicing report, relative to the orientation.
      • End – End of the slicing report, relative to the orientation.
    • Rotation field group:
      • Set angle from variogram – Only available if the Orientation field is set to something other than X, Y or Z.
      • Variogram – Select a variogram to set the rotation angle. Only available if Set angle from variogram is checked.
      • Angle – Manually select a rotation angle. Only available if Set angle from variogram is unchecked.
    • Point Data Options field group:
      • Top-Cut Data – Calculate the naive and declustered mean with the top-cut value. Specified as either a fixed value (for example, 0.5) or as a percentile (for example, 95%).
      • Naive Mean – Display the naive mean on the Trend Plot.
      • Naive Top-Cut
      • Declustered Mean
      • Declustered Top-Cut
