Use the Excel Add-in to Download Lab Stats
This activity describes how to download laboratory statistics using the Excel Add-in. Lab statistics are created and managed in the main AssayNet LIMS application and can include a wide range of custom metrics, such as determinations, total samples received, and other performance indicators tailored to your operation’s needs. All filtering options—including client, project, analysis, and sample type—are configured within the main application. The Excel Add-in is used solely to select the statistic and the date range, and to download the results into Excel. You can create as many custom statistics as needed in the main LIMS system to support their reporting and monitoring requirements. For more information, see Create and Configure Laboratory Statistics.
For best results, use a dedicated Excel workbook with clearly labeled tables and cell references for each statistic you want to download. When creating or editing statistics in the main application, assign the appropriate cell reference in Excel so you can easily track which downloaded data corresponds to each statistic. You can assigned the template create for each stats configured. This approach ensures your laboratory metrics are organized and easy to analyze.
This activity presumes you have the Excel Add-in installed. For more information see Install the LIMS Excel Add-in.
