  3. On the menu, click Setup » Options.

The Edit Analysis Code screen displays in the Client Job Options category group.

  4. In the Category list, click Retest Options.

    The Retest Options screen displays.

Note: The Retest Options allow you to choose which retest methods are available when creating a retest from the Results Summary screen in the Instrument Run page. For more information, see Configure a Sample Retest. Additionally, the settings on this screen let you predefine how the retest will be performed when selecting the Ad-Hoc Retest type.

  5. Select from the following retest options:
    • Ad-Hoc Retest—Allows you to configure retests from scratch to meet the requirements of each instrument run.
    • Package Retest—Allows you to use the package retest option when one or more packages are configured. For more information, see Configure a Package Retest.
    • Use Analysis Code to set Retest Options—Allows you to pre-configure all available retest options specific to the analysis code while still letting you adjust them as needed when you create the retest. For more information, see Configure a Sample Retest.
    • Schemes from Run (Manual Select)—Allows the user to manually choose which analyte schemes to include in the instrument run.
    • Schemes from Run (Auto Select)—Automatically includes the analyte schemes assigned to the original run.
    • Schemes from Client Job—Uses only the analyte schemes that were specifically configured in the Client Job setup.
  6. If Use Analysis Code to set Retest Options is selected, the rest of the options are enabled to pre-configure the retest. You can still change the options as needed on the Retest in the Result Summary screen.

Note: For a detailed description of the available options, see Configure a Sample Retest and Create a Sample Retest.

  7. Click OK.
