Load submittals onto the device

Load the submittal onto the device before going into the field. Loading copies the submittal, its expected sample list, and its custom fields to the device, so that collection continues without a network connection.

This activity presumes that the client submittal already exists in AssayNet LIMS, with its sample list, custom fields, and prep code set.

Activity steps:

1. Connect the device to the network.

2. Sign in and open the Sample Tracking workspace. See Sign in to AssayNet Mobile.

3. Tap LOAD.

   The Load submittals screen displays the submittals available on the server.

4. To reduce the list, tap the Filter Submittals icon and set the criteria:

   1. Select the Client if required.

   2. Select the Project from the projects for the selected client if required.

   3. Enter the From date if required.

   4. Enter the To date if required.

   5. Enter the submittal Name if required.

   6. Tap OK.

5. To change the order of the list, tap the Sort submittals icon and select Sort by Submittal Name, Sort by Date, Sort by Client, or Sort by Project.

6. Select one or more submittals.

7. Tap OK.

   The selected submittals and their samples are downloaded to the device.

   Note: A message displays when a submittal that is already on the device is selected again. Continuing replaces the copy held on the device, which discards any collected data for that submittal that has not been sent.

8. Tap the back arrow.

   The submittals display on the home screen with the number of samples in each one.

9. Take the device into the field. See Collect and scan samples.

Send any collected data before you remove submittals, because removing a submittal also removes the samples held with it. To remove submittals from the device, press and hold a submittal in the list, select the submittals to remove, tap the Delete icon, and then tap YES.
