Sign in to AssayNet Mobile

Sign in with your AssayNet LIMS account. The workspace is chosen as part of signing in, and one sign-in covers both workspaces on the device.

This activity presumes that the server address and database are already set. See Configure the server connection.

Activity steps:

1. Open the application.

   The sign-in screen displays.

2. Select the workspace: Sample Tracking or Sample Login.

   The workspace set as the default app is already selected.

3. Enter your User name.

4. Enter your Password.

5. Select whether to Save password securely.

   The password is held in encrypted device storage and is used for the next sign-in on this device.

6. Tap LOG IN.

   The selected workspace opens.

   Note: If sign-in does not complete, the screen states the reason.

   • The user name or password is incorrect: Check your details and sign in again.

   • Too many login attempts: Wait a few minutes before trying again.

   • This account is locked: Contact your administrator.

   • No network connection: Connect the device to a network and try again.

When the device has no connection at startup, sign-in is skipped and Sample Tracking opens with the data already held on the device. See Offline working.
