secondly by:
-

Where multiple criteria are entered, then the criteria are applied as "Or".
-
-
Analytical Type
Search QC history summaries by the observation's primary analytical type, either Duplicate, Standard, Blank, Spike and/or Replicate. Refer to Conditions for Allowing Standards as Spikes.
-
Secondary Analytical Type
Search QC history summaries by the observation's secondary analytical type, either Duplicate or Replicate, dependent on the selection of Analytical Type.
Where Secondary Analytical Type is not provided, then the search only returns QC observations where the sample's Secondary Analytical Type is empty.
Where Secondary Analytical Type is provided, the search only returns QC observations where the sample's Secondary Analytical Type matches the criteria. Selecting a Secondary Analytical Type of Duplicate or Replicate is used to find QC samples where the Primary Analytical Type is Blank, Standard or Spike and the Secondary Analytical Type is Duplicate or Replicate.
Example: Given the following samples are analysed and undergo QC assessment:
Sample

Secondary Analytical Type
Secondary QC Type Code

STD1

STD2

STD2REP

Upon QC assessment, STD1, STD2 and STD2REP undergo standard assessment, and STD2REP also undergoes replicate precision assessment. In total, 4 observations are written to QC history.

When opened to show the individual observations
Standard
3 observations
Shows the 3 standard observations
Standard
Replicate
1 observation
Shows the 3 standard observations, that is, the secondary analytical type is ignored at this point
Standard Replicate
1 observation
Shows the 3 standard observations, that is, the secondary analytical type is ignored at this point
Replicate
1 observation
Shows the 1 replicate observation
-
QC Type Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of the observation's QC type related to the type of assessment.
Where the observation was written for a sample scheme analyte's assessment of the:
-
Primary analytical type and primary QC type, then this is set to the sample scheme analyte's Primary QC Type Code.
-
Secondary analytical type and secondary QC type, then this is set to the sample scheme analyte's Secondary QC Type Code.
-
-
Standard Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of the associated standard. Only applicable when the selected analytical type is Blank, Standard or Spike.
-
Section Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of an associated section.
-
Scheme Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of an associated scheme.
-
Job Name
Search QC history summaries by the name of an associated job.
-
Client Code
Search QC history summaries by the QC history observation's client. The field allows for the selection of multiple client codes, and allows for the use of wildcards. Client codes are included in the drop-down selection list regardless of whether the client is active or not, as historical QC observations may be associated with a now inactive client.
-
Client Name
Search QC history summaries by the name of the QC history observation's client. The field allows for the selection of multiple client names, and allows for the use of wildcards.
-
Project Code
Search QC history summaries by the QC history observation's project. The field allows for the selection of multiple project codes associated with the specified clients, and allows for the use of wildcards. Project codes are included in the drop-down selection list regardless of whether the project is active or not, as historical QC observations may be associated with a now inactive project. Where Client Code is provided, then the Project Code drop-down selection list is filtered by associated clients, and where it is not provided, then contains all possible project codes associated with all clients.
Note: Where the Client Group is provided, then any filtering by project requires that the Project Code is entered rather than selected, as the Project Code drop-down selection list does not react to Client Group.
-
Client Group Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of a client group containing the QC history observation's client. The field allows for the selection of multiple client group codes, and allows for the use of wildcards.
-
User Code
Search QC history summaries by the QC history observation's analysis user. The field allows for the selection of multiple user codes, and allows for the use of wildcards.
-
User Group Code
Search QC history summaries by the code of a user group containing the QC history observation's analysis user. The field allows for the selection of multiple user codes, and allows for the of wildcards.
-
Instrument Code
Search QC history summaries by the QC history observation's analysis instrument. The field allows for the selection of multiple instrument codes, and allows for the use of wildcards.
-
