Processes associated with this form
Screen flows
- Submit—Validate and save the changes.
- Refresh—Reloads the original data. Any changes made since the last submit are lost.
- New—Create a new item related to the application.
- Save As—Creates a new item based on the information provided by an existing item.
- Delete—Confirm and delete the current item.
- Open—Display a dialog box to enter an existing item to display its detail.
- New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.

Organisation Scope
Indicates whether this entity is available organisation-wide or laboratory-wide.
- Checked—The entity is available to users who are logged into any laboratory within the organisation.
- Unchecked—The entity is only available to users who are logged into the current laboratory.
Setting the section's scope upon successful creation depends upon the user's security level for the CCSECTION:CREATE resource. The only possible security level for the resource is full—full.
A user can have multiple roles, and each role can contain different rights. Any of these role-right combinations may contain the resource.
If the resource does not exist across all role-right combinations for the user, then the user has no access to the resource. Otherwise the user's security level for the resource is full—full.
The selection in this field can determine the visibility for other fields in this form, and the content of various drop-down selection lists.

Section Code
The unique code assigned to section.

Name
The name of the section. Maximum length of 200 characters. Multi-language support.

Description
The description of the section. Maximum length of 400 characters. Multi-language support.

Section Category
A category assigned to the section. Selected from categories with a Category Type of SECTIONS.

Is Active
Indicates whether the entity is available in drop-down lists. An inactive entity cannot be selected for use.

Validate Result User Group Code
The validate result user group code associated with the section. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUSGP—Search User Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
Only users in the user group associated with a section's Validate Release User Group Code can validate results in workbook for a scheme that is linked to the section. If a section's Validate Release User Group Code is not defined then all users can validate results in workbook for a scheme that is linked to the section.

Section Manager User Group Code
The section manager user group code associated with the section. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUSGP—Search User Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Release Result User Group Code
The result release user group associated with the section. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUSGP—Search User Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
Only users in the user group associated with a section's Result Release User Group Code can release results in workbook for a scheme that is linked to the section. If a section's Result Release User Group Code is not defined then all users can release results in workbook for a scheme that is linked to the section.

Access User Group Code
The access user group code associated with the section. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUSGP—Search User Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
The schemes that a user sees available for entering results in workbook is limited by section, such that, the user can only see schemes that are not associated with a section, schemes that are associated with a section but that section is not associated with an access user group, or schemes that are associated with a section and that section is associated with access user group and the user is a member of the user group.

Results Canned Comment Group Code
The results canned comment group associated with the section. A canned comment group may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active canned comment groups in scope, as configured in the CCCNGP—Canned Comment Group application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCCNGP—Search Canned Comments Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
Users who are entering comments on results for schemes associated with the section can access canned comments from this canned comment group.

Location Code
Only relevant for lab-scope sections.
The location associated with the section. Note that only lab-scope sections can link to a location code. A location may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active locations in scope, as configured in the CCLCTN—Location application. Each location's hierarchy precedes its location code. The list is filterable using % and _ wildcards. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLCTN—Search Location screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Report Active
No functional use in core CCLAS. Represents the reportability status of the entity.

Report Sequence
The sequence in which the section is reported when included in section reports.

Report KPIs
No functional use in core CCLAS. Repreasents whether KPIs are to be reported for the section.

Section Nonwork Period Grid
The periods of time for which the section does not work.

Day
The day on which the section does not work for a period of time.

Time From
The time of day up to which the section does not work for a period.

Time To
The time of day up to which the section does not work for a period.
