Screen flows

• Submit—Perform a search using the entered search criteria and display the results in the grid.
• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.
• Saved Searches—Display a saved searches menu where you can save a search, rename and delete existing searches. Refer to Using the Screen Interface for more information.

Primary Criteria Tab

The scheme criteria to search for specification scheme analytes.

• Scope

  Search specification scheme analytes by the scope of an associated scheme. The following options are available: All, Laboratory only, Organisation only.

• Scheme Category

  Search specification scheme analytes by the category of an associated scheme. Selected from categories with a Category Type of SCHEMES.

• Scheme Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of an associated scheme. A scheme may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active schemes in scope, as configured in the CCSCHM—Scheme application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCSCHM—Search Scheme screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Name

  Search specification scheme analytes by the name of an associated scheme.

• Description

  Search specification scheme analytes by the description of an associated scheme.

• Line of Business Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of a line of business linked to an associated scheme. This is relevant only to org-scope schemes on a specification. Lab-scope schemes are not associated with a line of business. Line of business is used to provide visibility of org-scope schemes that have a line of business matching one of the laboratory's lines of business. Specification scheme analytes returned from a search are filtered automatically by the laboratory's lines of business on the scheme, however a line of business can be entered as a search criteria to further filter specification scheme analytes by a specific line of business on a scheme. A line of business may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active lines of business in scope, as configured in the CCLOFB—Line of Business application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLOFB—Search Line of Business screen select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Section Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of a section linked to an associated scheme. A section may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active sections in scope, as configured in the CCSECT—Section application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCSECT—Search Section screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return, and the Section Code field is populated with the selected value.

• Default Specification Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of a specification linked to an associates scheme.

• Instrument Group Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of an instrument group linked to an associated scheme. An instrument group may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active instrument groups in scope, as configured in the CCINGP—Instrument Group application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCINGP—Search Instrument Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Analyte Criteria Tab

The analyte criteria to search for specification scheme analytes.

• Analyte Code

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of an associated scheme version analyte. An analyte may be selected from the drop-down list that contains analytes in active schemes in scope, as configured in the CCSCHM—Scheme application.

• Analyte Name

  Search specification scheme analytes by the name of an associated scheme version analyte.

• Analyte Report Unit

  Search specification scheme analytes by the code of a report unit linked to an associated scheme version analyte.

• Analyte Description

  Search specification scheme analytes by the name of an associated scheme version analyte.

• Analyte Report Name

  Search specification scheme analytes by the report name of an associated scheme version analyte.

• Analyte Report Description

  Search specification scheme analytes by the report description of an associated scheme version analyte.

• Analyte MSDS Name

  Search specification scheme analytes by the MSDS name of an associated scheme version analyte.

• Exclude Non-Reportable

  Search specification scheme analytes by whether an associated scheme version analyte is flagged as being not reportable.

• Exclude Sub-Analytes

  Search specification scheme analytes by the whether an associated scheme version analyte is a sub-analyte.

Search Results Grid

• Grid flows

  • Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. Available report templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.
  • Save Selected Scheme Analytes—Add selected scheme version analytes to the specification with each analyte's report unit, where the scheme version analyte unit does not exist, as yet, on the specification.
