Configure custom price schedules for quote tests

To view tests on a quote:

  1. Either, access a quote via a client quote:
    1. Access the CCCLNT—Client application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCCLNT—Search Client screen.
    2. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display clients that match the criteria.
    3. Open the required client to display the CCCLNT—Client Detail screen.
    4. Select the Invoicing tab.
    5. Select the Quotes sub-tab to display client quotes.
  2. Or, directly access a quote:
    1. Access the CCQUOTE—Quote application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQUOTE—Search Quote screen.
    2. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display quotes that match the criteria.
  3. Open the required quote to display the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen.
  4. Select the Tests tab to display the schemes and analytes covered by the quote.

To create quote price schedules for tests in the Scheme Analyte Grid:

  1. Select the relevant schemes and analytes and click Create Price Schedule.

    Where a price schedule already exists for any selected test, then a "No Custom Price Schedules were created" message is displayed.

    Otherwise, a price schedule is created for:

    • Each selected scheme that has scheme-based, sample-based or unit-based pricing
    • Each analyte in each selected scheme that has analyte-based pricing.
    • Each selected analyte in a scheme that has analyte-based pricing.

    Each price schedule is populated as follows:

    • The price schedule is created using the quote's Currency .
    • A price code is created with its Price Code set to a concatenation of the Quote Code and a numerical running sequence of price schedules created for the quote and the price code's isSystemGenerated flag set to true.
    • The quote scheme's Price Code or quote analyte's Price Code is linked to the automatically created price code.

    The estimated quote prices are based upon the defined price schedules.

To update a price schedule for a scheme or analyte in the Scheme Analyte Grid:

  1. Select the Edit Price Schedule row flow in the Scheme Analyte Grid for the quote scheme or quote analyte price schedule to be updated, to display the CCPRCSCHD—Update Price Schedule screen. If this flow is greyed out, then a quote price schedule has not been created for the scheme or analyte in the quote.
  2. To make changes to the pricing schedule, refer to Configuring Price Schedules for further configuration details.

To delete a quote scheme price schedule or quote analyte price schedule:

  1. Either:
    1. Select the Delete Price Schedule row flow in the Scheme Analyte Grid for the quote scheme or quote analyte price schedule to be deleted, to display the CCPRCSCHD—Update Price Schedule screen. If this flow is greyed out, then a price schedule has not been created for the scheme or analyte in the quote, so deletion is not necessary.
  2. Or:
    1. Select the Edit Price Schedule row flow in the Tests Grid for the quote scheme or quote analyte price schedule that is to be deleted, to display the CCPRCSCHD—Update Price Schedule screen. If this flow is greyed out, then a price schedule has not been created for the scheme or analyte in the quote, so deletion is not necessary.
    2. Click Delete.

    Upon deletion of the quote scheme or quote analyte price schedule, the quote scheme or quote analyte price code is set back to the original price code from the scheme or analyte. A refresh of the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen shows the original price code displayed on the quote scheme or quote analyte in the grid.
