Maintaining Procedures

Overview
Procedures are groups of schemes and analytes that are used to register tests on samples.
This process is pertinent to laboratory and QC managers who configure the analytical environment for the laboratory.
Procedures for Clients
A procedure optionally links to either a client or client group, thereby making the procedure visible for selection only where the job is linked to the client, or a client in the client group, respectively.
Procedure Schemes
Procedures contain ANA (Analytical), HDR (Handler), PRP (Preparation) and/or MIS (Miscellaneous) schemes.

Each procedure contains the schemes and analytes that are assigned to a job when the procedure is assigned to the job.
Depending on the LIMS configuration, either combined or default scheme-analyte selection is used to display located schemes and analytes.
