Generate and Print a Blast Costing Report

Use the Blast Costing Report to generate a cost breakdown for selected patterns using the cost items and product prices defined in the Blast Cost Items Maintenance screen.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Design, Drill, Measure, Charge, Initiation or Firing module.
2. Select one or more patterns in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The pattern(s) display(s) in the Viewport.

3. Ensure that at least one of the selected patterns is the active pattern. See Make a Pattern Active.
4. To limit the report to a subset of the holes in the drill pattern, select the holes. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
5. On the Reports Ribbon Menu, click Blast Costing Report.

   The Blast Costing Report screen displays.

6. Set the Report Date and time.

   This date controls which effective-dated prices are used so that you can generate reports using historical costs.

   Note: To compare costs at different times, run the report twice using different report dates, then compare the generated outputs.

7. If there is more than one Blast Costing report template (see Maintain Report Templates), select the required template.
8. Click Generate Report.

   The Report Designer screen displays a print preview of the blast costing report for the selected holes or all holes if the pattern boundary is selected.

9. To print the report, click Print and adjust print settings as required.
