Training

The following scenarios provide an introduction to DataBlast Ignite functionality:

• Importing computer assisted drawing (CAD) data
• Designing a drill pattern
• Entering and viewing drilling data
• Entering and viewing quality analysis / quality control (QAQC) data
• Designing charging configuration
• Designing initiation sequences for non-electric detonation systems
• Designing initiation sequences for electricronic detonation systems
• Product maintenance
• Site maintenance

To complete this self-led training:

1. Install DataBlast Ignite. See Install DataBlast Ignite.
2. Start the DataBlast Ignite Application and log into the demo mine site database available with a new installation.

   Note: You need a licence key!

3. Download the data files to your computer and unzip the package.
4. Work through the training scenarios in order, referring to the activity steps as required.

Note: Follow the instructions carefully, and do not vary the numbers for this training, even if they do not match what you do your mine site. This is important so that later scenarios work with the supplied data.
