Design a Drill Pattern

Activity Steps

1. Select the Design module.
2. Right-click a node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Design a Drill Pattern from the menu.

   The Drill Pattern screen displays.

3. Enter a Name.
4. Select a Drill Pattern Type from the defined drill pattern types. See Maintain Drill Pattern Types. The drill pattern type determines the templates for entering drill log, dip and backfill data.
5. Click OK.

   The drill pattern displays in design mode.

6. On the Drill Pattern Designer Ribbon Menu, click Save Changes.

   Note: To complete the drill pattern design, you also need to:

   1. Assign Surfaces to a Drill Pattern or Define Fixed Targets.
   2. Create a Grid of Holes and/or Create a Line of Holes.
