Custom Views
To access this screen:
- Ensure you have a Schedule view displayed.

View ribbon >> Custom >> Views.
Define different views to present your scheduling data using the following options:

New View
Click to insert a new view. By default, new views are called New Layout #, where # starts as 01 and is incremented by 1.

Delete View
Click to delete the currently selected view.
Warning: Views are deleted immediately. You are not asked to confirm the deletion.

Rename View
Click to rename the currently selected view.

Layout Names List
The names of the views currently defined.

General
This section specifies the options that apply to the entire DTS main screen.
- Vertical split - specifies the percentage of the screen that is allocated to display the Task Table area and the Gantt chart area.
- Horizontal split - specifies the percentage of the screen that is allocated to display the Task Table area and the Crosstab header area.
- Date scale - the date scale to be used for this view. By default, the value is Default. If you have other Date scales defined (using the Timescale screen).
- Grouping - the grouping to be applied to this view.

Top view
This section specifies the options that apply to the top area of the DTS screen - Task Table area and Gantt chart area.
- Table layout - the layout of the Task Table area.
- Chart layout - the layout of the Gantt chart area.
- Filter - the filter to be used by this view.
- Sort - the sort to be used by this view.

Bottom view
This section specifies the options that apply to the bottom area of the DTS screen - Crosstab header and Crosstab report.
- Type - the type of view.
- Table layout - the layout of the Crosstab header table.
- Chart layout - the layout of the Crosstab area.
- Filter - the filter to be used by this view.
- Sort - the sort to be used by this view.

Locked
Select this field to lock all the settings for the selected view to prevent accidental changes.

Inherit from Current
Click to set the view that you are creating to look like the currently displayed view.
