Generate Filters

Create task, resource and assignment filters from field values. Filters can be generated from any field. These filters are then available throughout the system to constrain the actions of other commands and functions.

Activity steps:

Display the Generate Filters screen.
Select the Field on which you want to base your filter.

Note: You can select more than one field. By default, the field selected is the field that you currently have selected in the Task Table.
Click Prepare to display a list of all unique values detected in the selected field(s).
Review the list on the right and check or uncheck items. Unchecked items will not be used to create a filter.

Tip: To create a value for each value in the field(s), use the header check box to globally select items. You can also use this to uncheck all items.
Click Generate to create filters for each checked item and add the filters to the Task, Resource or Assignment filters screen.

Filters are now available for selection later.
