Explorers

This area groups the different explorers of Isatis.neo. Each one is associated to a dedicated tab. In this way you can access:

  • Data: This tab groups all the data of your Isatis.neo project. Directories, files, data tables and variables are here visible. You can get statistics on the variables, build histograms, edit their properties or values, change the associated unit class, rename, copy, delete or export them using the right-click.
  • Geostatistical Sets: This tab lists all the Geostatistical Sets of your project. This object, specific to Isatis.neo, involves grouping a set of consistent parameters required to achieve Kriging and/or Simulations. They are usually built in the Exploratory Data Analysis but the Geostatistical Set manager enables you to create new geostatistical sets or to edit one to modify some of its characteristics (selection applied, stationarity option...). You can also display or print information associated to a geostatistical set.
  • Chart files: This tab groups all the recorded charts in the project. Each graphic and table generated by a task can be saved in a Chart File (using the Isatis.neo particular format) by using the Store Chart File button available in the task window. A chart may be constituted of several views organized into folders.
  • Scenes: Your data (imported data, results of estimation, etc) can be displayed in the Map window, to display data with a 2D rendering, in the 3D Viewer, to display data with a 3D rendering, or in the Section Viewer, to clip data along various consecutive planes with a 2D rendering. The list of displayed objects as well as their graphical properties can be saved in a «scene», which can be managed through this tab (create, rename, display, delete).
  • Color Scales: This tab lists all the color scales of the project. You can create, edit, copy, rename, report or delete color scales from here.
  • Catalogs: The different categories (names and associated color) of the categorical variables are managed via a catalog. This tab groups all the catalogs.
  • Neighborhoods: This tab groups all the neighborhoods of your project to apply during any interpolation such as Quick Interpolation, Kriging or Simulations.
  • Batch files: A sequence of actions in Isatis.neo (and potentially enriched by use of variables, loops, conditional statements, and even Python code) can be recorded into a batch file, using the Batch Record button. This tab gathers the different batches recorded in the project. It can also contains batch files used in other Isatis.neo projects (known as External batches). A batch file is stored as an XML file which can be edited with the Batch Editor (or a text editor outside of Isatis.neo); it also has a title for immediate loading from the Batch menu.
