Manage Asset Templates
Note: You need asset templates saved to your computer to import them into LandTracker. A selection of templates are available, see Download Templates and Action Definitions.
To import asset template(s):

Under Configuration on the Dashboard, click Manage Asset Templates.
A window opens displaying all templates currently in LandTracker.
- Click Import Asset Template(s).

Navigate file explorer to the location of your asset templates, select file(s), click Open.
A window displays the number of templates imported.

Click OK.
- Click Save or Save and Close.
To update the file location of an asset template:
Though LandTracker still functions, you may move your asset template files on and want to update the source within LandTracker.
- On the Dashboard under Configuration, click Manage Asset Templates.

Click Import Missing Files.
LandTracker looks for the location of each asset template. For any template that no longer has a file in the expected location, a file explorer window displays, with the file name in its title bar.
- Search for and select the file related to the asset template.

Click Open.
Note: If the file details do not match, a dialog box displays. Select from the following options:
- Use This File—Replaces the file.
- Skip—Ignores this file replacement and move onto the next file selection.
- Browse—Returns to the file explorer window so that you can select a different file.
- Repeat until all missing files have been selected.
- Click Save or Save and Close on the Manage Templates screen.
To export asset template files:
- Under the Configuration section on the Dashboard, click Manage Asset Templates.
- Select the file(s) to export by highlighting them in the datagrid.

Click Export in the detail pane.
A confirmation message displays the file(s) to be exported.

Click Yes.
Your File Explorer displays.
- Navigate to your chosen location to save your file(s).
Note:These files are not stored in LandTracker, they are copies of the original files from the location verified by LandTracker.
