Add Contacts
To add a contact manually:
- View Contacts.
- In the Views panel, expand Contact > Contact Types and select All Contacts.
- Double-click a cell in the blank row at the bottom of the data grid, or right-click a row selector and select Insert Row from the menu.
Note: If these options are not available, check that you have the required permissions (see User Management and Permissions) and that you have selected the correct view. Contacts can be edited but not added in the Contact > All Contact > All Contact view.
- In the Summary tab of the details pane, enter the contact's First Name, Last Name, Company and other details as available.
Note: The Name field is read-only and is based on the entered information. Examples:
- If you only enter a first and last name: LastName, FirstName
- If you only enter a company name: Company
- If you enter a first and last name and company: Company (LastName, FirstName)
- Click Save or Save and Close.
To import contacts from Microsoft Outlook:
- In Microsoft Outlook, display your contacts.
Note: If Contacts is not your most recently viewed data in Outlook, LandTracker displays a warning during the import process.
- In LandTracker, on the Dashboard, in the Contacts menu, click Import contacts from Outlook.
A confirmation message displays how many contacts are available to import.
- Click Yes.
The Import/Update from Outlook - Review Updates screen displays the data to be imported.
- Click Save Updates.
A confirmation message displays.
- Click Save Changes.
