Asset Explorer
Use the Asset Explorer to navigate the links between assets in your database.
The Asset Explorer has the following sections:
- Navigation pane—Located on the left.
- Data grid—Located on the right.
To open the Asset Explorer:
- On the Dashboard, in the Groups and Links menu, click Asset Explorer.
Asset Explorer Navigation Pane
The navigation pane displays a tree structure. You can expand and collapse the nodes in the tree.
The top level nodes are the asset types: Group, Contact, Tenement, Agreement.
The next level nodes are the asset subtypes. For example, the group subtypes could be combined reporting groups, projects and relationships. The tenement subtypes could be exploration licences and mining leases.
Below the asset subtypes are the group links which are displayed in red text. Group link nodes may display multiple times in the tree. For example, a common group link is called Managed for your managed tenements. The Managed group link can also be applicable to a project group.
Asset Explorer Data Grid
Click an asset subtype or group link node in the navigation pane to view the related assets in the data grid.
You can edit data in this data grid, but you cannot add assets or other data records.
For information about the available context menu options, see Data Grids.
