Install LandTracker

Important: Before you install LandTracker, review the LandTracker System Requirements.

Activity Steps

1. Double-click the Setup-LandTracker.exe file.

   The installation wizard starts.

2. Click Next.

   The License Agreement screen displays.

3. Click I Agree.

   Important: The installer checks whether the required versions of .NET Framework and SQL Server are installed. If required, follow the prompts to install these prerequisites.

   The License Details screen displays.

4. Enter your Company Name and License Key.
5. Select the installation type from Full or Trial.

6. Click Next.

   A licence confirmation displays.

   Note: If a warning displays instead of a licence confirmation:

   1. Contact LandTrack Systems to confirm your licence details or request an authorisation code.
   2. Enter the Authorisation Code if provided.
7. Click OK.

   The Choose Install Location screen displays.

   Note: The default and recommended installation location is C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\LandTracker. You can change this location if required.

8. Click Install.

   A confirmation message displays.

9. Click Finish.

Note: When you first run LandTracker, you need to connect to a database. See Database Management.
