Run a Merge to Excel Report

A Merge to Excel report can be run on any records in an Asset Browser. The view does not need to include specific columns as the are defined in the Merge to Excel template.

Activity Steps

1. Navigate to the assets and select the applicable rows in the Data Grids

2. Right-click the select-all cog and select Merge to Excel from the menu.

   A file explorer opens.

3. Navigate to and select the applicable template, click Open.

   An Excel workbook displays a report based on the selected assets and the template.

   Note: If you receive the warning: Merge to Excel Failed: Cannot run the macro 'macroname'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled. Perform one of the following:

   • Remove the reference to the macro from the comment of the affected worksheet(s).

   • Add a macro with the specified name into the template.
