When you open LandTracker, the Dashboard displays. You view and work with your assets and data in pop-up screens, such as the Asset Browser.

Saving Data

If you have unsaved changes when you try to close a screen, a warning displays with these options.

• Save Changes—Save changes and close the screen.
• Drop Changes—Discard changes and close the screen.
• Cancel Operation—Close the warning and continue working.

Important: Data is not automatically saved in LandTracker. You should save changes frequently while you are working.

Discarding Changes

There is no Undo button in LandTracker, and the Ctrl+Z keyboard shortcut, which is common in many Windows applications, does not have any effect in LandTracker.

If you have changes that you do not want to save, close the screen and select the Drop Changes option.

Hyperlinks

Throughout the LandTracker user interface, the names of assets and other data records are hyperlinked.

Click a link to see a preview of the linked asset. Click Open at the bottom of the preview screen to open the details pane of the asset as a separate pop-up screen. Alternatively, you can hold down Shift as you click a hyperlink to open the asset's details without viewing a preview first.

Note: If a linked name is brown, but not underlined, you do not have access to that linked asset type and the link is therefore not active.
