Configure Stope Seed Wireframes

Stope Seed Wireframesis one type of Advanced Slice Frameworks.

This advanced framework option uses 3D wireframe solids as seed volumes for stopes. These seed wireframes define the starting shape and spatial position of each stope. MSO then uses these volumes to grow or refine stope shapes during the optimization process. This can be especially useful when a strong geometric constraint is needed to guide stope creation.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Framework screen.

  2. Expand Framework Type to select Advanced Framework, if not already selected.

  3. Expand Advanced Type and select Stope Seed Wireframes.

  4. Select a Wireframe File (...). This is a Datamine wireframe triangle file (...tr.dmx) containing 3D wireframes used as seed shapes for the stopes.

Note: You can also pick a legacy Datamine .dm file.

  5. Select the Stope Number Field. This is the attribute in the wireframe file that identifies individual stopes (for example, LINK, ID, REGION and so on).

  6. Set the Default value MSO will use when the Stope Number Field is missing.

  7. Save your settings.
