Check Active & Completed Workers

This section of the MSO Run screen displays scenarios currently being processed based on the queue order. It's a good place to review the status of each optimization run.

Activity steps

  1. Create an MSO scenario and define a block model.

  2. Configure other settings as required.

  3. Display the Run screen.

The Worker Configurations table shows an entry for every scenario that exists for your project.

  4. Review or Define Processing Settings.

  5. Set up Worker Configurations.

  6. Set up a Worker Queue.

  7. Review the Active Workers table:

    • Scenario – A scenario name.

Note: You can't change this during processing, but you can cancel (X) the run and click Edit Scenarios to restart with a new name.

    • Concurrent Threads – The number of threads assigned to the worker.

    • Status – A progress bar showing the progress of an active worker.

Note: This reflects how many optimization steps are complete, not the percentage of total run time. Later steps may be significantly longer.

    • Duration – A timer indicating how long a worker has been active so far.

  8. Review the Completed Workers table. This displays summary information about completed workers.

    • Scenario – A scenario name.

    • Status – This shows either Succeeded, Failed or Cancelled.

    • Information – Additional information about the run appears here.

    • Duration – The time taken to complete the worker, or the duration of processing up to cancellation or run failure.

  9. Review Processed Results.
