Configure Mandatory and Pinned Services

You can configure which services always display on the Monitored Services screen, and which services affect the Service Status icon if they are have not been started or if they stop. For more information, see Service Status Icon.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain the Monitored Services security right in the Options user group security rights group for this activity.

1. Open the Monitored Services screen.
2. Click the Settings button for a service.

   The settings menu for the service displays.

3. Select whether to pin the service.
4. If the service is pinned:
   1. Select whether to make the service mandatory.
   2. To reorder the services, select Move Up or Move Down from the menu as required.

      Note: Saving is automatic for these changes.
