Note: You cannot change the planning period after the plan data has been rolled up or in a branched plan. The planning server settings display the time of the next scheduled plan roll-up. See Specify Planning Server Settings.

  16. Select a Calendar Type to determine the working and exclusion days for the plan. Select from the calendars defined in the Calendar Editor.

Many mines require the ability to included either business days (Monday-Friday) or public holidays in the pro-rata calculations, from monthly plans down to smaller sub-divisions (for example, days or shifts).

Example: A calendar that included New Year's Day and excluded weekends (Monday-Friday only) would return the number of days for the pro-rata calculation as 22 instead of 31. If there was a monthly tonnage figure of 31,000 for January, this would evaluate to 31,000 / 22 = 1409 tonnes/day, instead of 31,000 / 31 = 1000 tonnes/day.

  17. If Use Shift Times is True, select a Shift Definition from the shift definitions defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer.
  18. Click Save.
