Set up a Data Link Template

This activity creates a template that can be used when creating a one-off data link between two despatch orders. See Despatch Order Data Links for descriptions of these properties.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain data link templates security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Organisations panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Data Link Templates node.
3. Right-click a data link template category and select New » Data Link Template from the menu.

   The Data Link Template displays.

4. Update the Data Link Template name if required.
5. Select how Weights And Assays are linked from Yes (default), No and Prorated By Traded Quantity.
6. If Weights And Assays is Yes, select whether to Allow Assay Exchange. Default: Unchecked.
7. Select how Cost Mirroring applies from Full, No (default) and Prorated By Quantity.
8. Select whether to Create Invoices. Default: Unchecked.
9. Select whether Risk Transfer applies. Default: Unchecked.
10. Click Save.
