Calculate the Impact of Changing a Premium Matrix Rate

You can calculate the impact of changing a premium matrix rate before saving the change. The calculation only considers despatch orders that are not in a trade with another despatch order.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to edit premium matrixes security right in the Marketing user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

Open the Premium Matrix Editor.
Select a premium matrix in the Premium Matrixes table.
Select a rate in the Premium Matrix Rates table.
Update the rate:
1. If the Tier Basis is None, update the Spot Value and/or the Forward Value.
2. If the Tier Basis is Price, update the Value.
Note: See Set up a Premium Matrix for information about these fields.
Press Enter, or click another cell in the same rate to enable the Calculate Change Impact button.
The button is enabled if a rate value is changed (and the user presses Enter, or clicks another cell in the same rate), but the change has not yet been saved.
Click Calculate Change Impact.
MineMarket determines which unmatched despatch orders use the selected rate and calculates the impact of the change.

To view further information about the calculation, click the ellipsis (...).
The Result Details screen displays the impact, the associated despatch order quantities and the previous and new rate values. Click an item in the table to display a description of the item.
