Copy Demurrage/Despatch Conditions

You can copy individual demurrage/despatch conditions and sets of demurrage/despatch conditions between sets of contract terms and contracts. Copied demurrage/despatch conditions are added to any demurrage/despatch conditions that are already in the destination contract. That is, existing demurrage/despatch conditions are not replaced.

Security Note: You need the Allow contract maintenance security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the source Sales Contract, Purchase Contract, Service Contract or Freight Contract.
2. For a sales or purchase contract:
   1. Expand the required set of contract terms.
   2. Right-click the Demurrage/Despatch node (or sub-node for an individual condition) and select Copy from the menu.
3. For a service or freight contract:
   1. Select the Demurrage/Despatch tab.
   2. Right-click the condition in the Demurrages field group and select Copy from the menu.
4. Open the destination Sales Contract, Purchase Contract, Service Contract or Freight Contract.
5. For a sales or purchase contract:
   1. Expand the required set of contract terms.
   2. Right-click the Demurrage/Despatch node and select Paste from the menu.
6. For a service or freight contract:
   1. Select the Demurrage/Despatch tab.
   2. Right-click in the Demurrages field group and select Paste from the menu.
7. Update the demurrage/despatch conditions as required.
8. Click Save.
