Remove a Child Despatch Order from an Aggregated or Consignment Parent Despatch Order

The parent despatch order (PDO) must have an editable status. See Status Definitions.

This activity does not delete the child despatch order (CDO).

A CDO that has been loaded or invoiced cannot be removed from its PDO.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain despatch orders security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Sales Contract or Purchase Contract.
2. Select the Despatch Orders node for the contract product.

   Note: You can also remove CDOs via the Despatch Orders tab on the node for the quota.

3. Select a Date Range if required. The date selector has the following options:
   • Month—Select a single month of a selected calendar year.
   • Quarter—Select a single quarter of a selected calendar year.
   • Year—Select a single calendar year.
   • Date Range—Specify any start and end date. Default: The current system month.
   • Today—Set the date range to the current date.
   • Clear—Ignore the date range as a search criterion.
4. Enter a Search Name if required.
5. Click Search or press F3.
6. Expand the PDO if required.
7. Right-click the CDO and select Remove from Parent from the menu.
8. Click Save.
