Remove a Data Link between Despatch Orders

This activity removes a one-off data link between two despatch orders. See Despatch Order Data Links.

Removing the data link is possible even if the despatch orders have been traded, invoiced or included in an invoice revaluation. The despatch orders still exist as independent despatch orders and use their own data. However, if one or both of the despatch orders has a Closed status, the data link cannot be removed.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain despatch orders security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Despatch Order.
2. Select the Linked Despatch Orders tab.
3. Right-click the data link in the Linked Despatch Orders table and select Delete from the menu.

   A confirmation message displays.

4. Click OK.
5. Click Save.
