Override Contributor Details for an Invoice

You can only override contributor details if Allow Overrides is checked for the invoice type. See Set up Invoice Types.

Contributor contribution data may need to be overridden for the following reasons:

  • When accrual invoices are created, but the despatch orders are not loaded, there is no contributor information. An accrual is basically used to estimate the value of an invoice, so the values of contributions may also be estimated and manually entered for calculations.
  • When the values of contributions may not be correct. The contributor information can be manually fixed. This is a common scenario because there are always unassigned contributors in despatches, resulting in the journals not being balanced.

If the contributor details are overridden on an invoice that has a linked invoice, MineMarket updates the linked invoice when the source invoice is recalculated, or when the values are reset on the linked invoice. Overrides to contributor details on the source invoice affect:

  • Linked invoice wet mass if the linked despatch order's mass is based on contributors or analyte contributors
  • Linked invoice analyte values if they are based on contributors

This activity is not applicable to commission invoices.

Security Note: You need the Allow invoice maintenance security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.
