User Group Security Rights - Base Data

Note: Sometimes a combination of security rights is required for an activity. If in doubt, check the security note in the activity. In addition, consider whether any User Group Security Rights - Menu control access to a required screen. Status Definitions may also limit which objects are selectable or editable.

Allow country maintenance

If assigned, users can create, rename and delete countries, provinces/states, cities and country groups in the Country Editor.

Allow maintenance of basis conversions

If assigned, users can create, edit and delete measurement bases in the Basis Editor.

Allow the user to edit recovery rates

If assigned, users can create, edit and delete recovery rates in the Recovery Rate Editor.

Allow the user to enter historical data

If assigned, users can edit data:

Allow the user to maintain incident definitions

If assigned, users can create, edit, rename and delete incident definitions in the Incident Definition Editor.

Allow the user to maintain list editor

If assigned, users can create, edit and delete text lists; and create, edit, reorder and delete list items in the List Editor. Pre-defined text lists cannot be deleted.

Allow the user to maintain status configuration

If assigned, users can create, edit and delete statuses and status links on the Status Configuration screen.

Allow the user to maintain status structures

Does not deny any functionality.

Allow the user to maintain the configuration of historical data

If assigned:

  • The Solution Explorer context menu options to create, rename and delete historical data set templates ('historical set configuration categories'); and to create, duplicate, rename and delete historical data sets ('historical sets') display.
  • Users can edit data in any Historical Set Configuration screen.

Allow the user to maintain units of measure

If assigned, users can create, edit and delete units and conversion factors in the Unit Conversion Editor.
