Configure a File System Watch File Move Task

Use a file move task to move (or delete) files with specified extensions from a selected folder to one or more folders.

Activity Steps

1. In the Configuration Explorer, expand the Tasks node.
2. Expand the required task group node.
3. Right-click the File System Watch node and select New File Move Task from the menu.
4. Double-click the file move task node.

   The File System Watch File Move Task screen displays.

5. Complete the fields in the File System Event Settings field group. (See Managing File System Watch Tasks for a description of these fields.)
6. Complete the following fields.
   • Destination Path—The folder to which to move the files.
   • File Action—The action to perform when files are moved. Select from Move or Delete.
7. Click Save.
