What is MineTrust?
MineTrust is a Data Management system which functions as a file-based repository for Datamine products installed at mine sites. Data can be accessed either hierarchically or via metadata lookup, and a rich set of development tools provide support for seamless integrations with other components of the ecosystem.
Key Features
Tags and Metadata
MineTrust provides a rich framework for describing and storing file metadata as 'tags'. Tags can be used to enrich file entries with business configuration, and can be expressed either as a flat or hierarchical structure.
Version History
MineTrust tracks user and time information against all file changes which are made in the system. Individual file versions are stored separately so that specific versions can be retrieved or rolled back at any time.
In addition to audit functionality, MineTrust has extensible support (on a per-file type basis) for calculating and processing deltas between file versions for known file formats.
Cloud-first Compatibility
MineTrust and all its ancillaries are designed in a 'cloud-first' paradigm, which enables rapid and scalable implementations to platforms such as Azure. Each component is specifically tailored and optimised to run efficiently in a cloud-based ecosystem, providing maximum value for cost.
Product Support
Datamine products integrate with MineTrust to share local data using a MineTrust Connector service. Once a MineTrust endpoint and local connector service are installed, products can share data automatically.

Deployment Options
MineTrust offers flexible deployment options to meet various IT and compliance requirements:
-
Client-Hosted (Azure) – Deployed in the client’s existing Azure cloud environment. See Cloud Hosting.
-
On-Premise – Installed and maintained on the client’s internal infrastructure. See On-Premise Hosting.
-
Datamine-Hosted (Azure) – Fully managed by Datamine in a secure Azure tenancy.
Each deployment type supports the same synchronisation functionality and data architecture, with infrastructure responsibility varying based on hosting choice. Once configured, Datamine products connect to the appropriate system and data synchronization begins for enabled projects (see below).
Note: Contact Datamine for more information on deployment options, and the best option for your organization.
