Correct and reauthorise data

If data needs to be corrected after authorisation has been completed and the data has been published, the following actions are required:

• The data should be updated in the logsheet or discrete unit data entry screens as required. See Data Entry and Summary.
• A user with the required quarantine permissions must review and accept the updated data. In a typical Production Accounting configuration, any changes to published data are quarantined. See Data Quarantine.
• The data authorisation process must be reset and the data must go through all authorisation stages again. Authorisation processes may be configured to automatically reset if their data is affected by items released from quarantine. If a process has not been configured to automatically reset, it must be reset manually. See Reset a data authorisation process.
