Comparisons

The Comparisons Screen provides a central place to define the configured comparisons used across Reconcilor analysis screens. A configured comparison defines the relationship between a From Metric and a To Metric, so users can select from a preconfigured list instead of rebuilding the same metric pairings each time.

Configured comparisons are available in screens such as Continuum Screen, Trends Screen, and Pivot View Screen. Each configured comparison includes a comparison name, abbreviation, metric pairing, optional chart colour, and an order number that controls how the comparison displays in reference lists.

The order of the selected metrics matters. The formulas displayed on the comparison form use MT for To Metric and MF for From Metric, so the selected metric order determines how factor, percent difference, and actual difference are calculated.

The validity settings control where a configured comparison can be used. You can make a configured comparison available for tonnes and volume comparisons, attribute comparisons, metal comparisons, or any combination that makes sense for the metric pairing.

A typical setup workflow is to define the configured comparisons first, then configure Control Limit Styles, and then configure Comparison Calculations.
