Add a Trace
Traces are used to map linear discontinuities, such as faults. In Sirovision, traces are open strings.
Traces can also be mapped along multiple pit wall benches and then bridged together. See Bridge Two Traces.
Traces can be mapped through the Mapping Menu. Also see View and Configure Plane and Trace Properties.
Activity Steps
- Open the Mapping Menu.
- Select Trace in the Planes menu group.
- Left-click the 3D image to begin drawing a trace.
- Continue left-clicking to create more points along the trace.
- Right-click the final point to complete the trace.
