Understanding this error message

No Licenses Found

License Services provides helpful error messages and warnings to assist with troubleshooting. An explanation for the error message "No Licenses Found" is provided below:

  • A license has not been found for the application you are trying to use. The license manager may not be correctly configured to use your License Server, or there may be a network problem preventing communication with the License Server.



Solution

  1. In the License Services dialog, click More... to run the License Manager.
  2. In the License Manager,Optionsdialog, open the Remote Servers tab: Tools |Remote Servers Options....
  3. Ensure that Use Remote Servers is selected.

  4. Check that the correct name or IP address of the server is listed. If not, enter the correct value, and click Apply.

  5. In the License Manager, refresh the view: View |Refresh.

  6. In theLicense Servicesdialog, click Retry to attempt to find a license again.
