License Properties

To view this control bar:

  • View >> Toolbars >> Properties.

The properties of the selected license or solution display with the following details:

Bound By

Displays the method of licensing binding used for the selected key. This is either

  • License – The license key is unsecured.

  • Dongle – The key is bound to a hardware dongle

  • Hard Disk ID – A legacy licensing binding method. No longer issued.

  • Machine ID – See Machine Identification

Created By

The user name, PC name, license creation date and time of the license registration. For example:

Administrator@LICENSING-PC 08/04/2025 10:31:29
GUID The license GUID, an internal ID used to identify the license in the internal database. This is NOT the license key and cannot be decoded.
Modified By The username, machine name, time and date relating to the last time the license was modified (say, by applying a maintenance key).
Owned By A license 'owner' is normally the person that either created or most recently modified the key.
Server The name of the PC that was used to generate the license.
Solution If the license is part of a solution, the solution name appears here, otherwise it is empty.
