Create a Data Definition Template

The Table Editor can save any existing Datamine table as a definition template. This makes it easy to create and edit another similar table using the same criteria.

Activity steps:

To create a template based on an existing table:

1. Open the table which is to be the basis for the template.
2. Choose File >> Save Definition As from the menu.
3. Name the definition and  browse to the location where you wish to save it.

The new definition will now be usable via the Insert definition >> From File option on the Task Pane.
