Using Formulae

Table Editor can apply values automatically where they are constant, or calculated from values contained in other fields.

Activity steps:

  1. Select Tools >> Run Formula.

    Tip: You can also press F10.

  2. Type in a formula you already know, or browse to display the Edit Formula screen.
  3. Test your formula to ensure it matches expected syntax. Consult your Studio help file for more information on specifying formulae.
  1. Click OK.

    Field values are filled in automatically for the target column.
