Scatter Plot Properties
To access this screen:
The chart Properties screen is used to define the selected chart's Display, Models, Titles, Legend, Comments, Grid and Bin Averaging parameters.
To configure these settings:

In the Display group, choose whether summary statistics are shown on the chart.

Check Display Statistics to display a summary statistics box on the chart, containing those statistics selected in the Statistics tab.

In the Models group, configure regression analysis lines:

Check Polynomial Regression to fit and draw a polynomial regression line.

Use the Color Palette drop-down to select the required color for the polynomial line, if the Polynomial Regression option is selected.

Set Order of Polynomial to define the order of the polynomial function (default '1').

Check Diagonal to draw a Y=X line.

Use the Color Palette drop-down to select the required color for the diagonal line, if the Diagonal option is selected.

In the Titles group, configure the title and axes label controls:

For Title, accept the default description or type a custom description, then select a font size from the drop-down.

For X Axis, accept the default description or type a custom description, then select a font size from the drop-down.

For Y Axis, accept the default description or type a custom description, then select a font size from the drop-down.

Chart ID is read-only and represents the automatically-generated index description for the chart.

Check Legend to display a legend box:

For Title, accept the default description or type a custom description, then select a font size from the drop-down.

Check Comments to display comments in a text box:

Type the comment text. Press ENTER to define multiple lines.

Check Grid to define custom grid parameters:

Set the Minimum and Maximum values for the X and Y axes.

Set the Grid interval for the X and Y axes.

Check Bin Averaging to display average value data points, using the defined bin settings:

Select X Axis to use X axis bin averaging, then define the X axis Minimum and Bin width values.

Select Y Axis to use Y axis bin averaging, then define the Y axis Minimum and Bin width values.

Check Display Original Points to additionally display the original data points.

Check Join Average Points to sequentially connect the average points with line segments in either X or Y, depending on the above selection.

Check Save Average Points File to save the average points to file. This option enables the filename box and browse button.

Browse for the points file. This opens the Project Browser screen.
