Domain Volume Properties

Note: This topic relates to the Dynamic Modelling Properties control bar.

To display this Properties control bar:

The following properties are available for domain task items that generate volumes (for example, a vein model):

Properties for Domain: [Domain Value]
Name The label used to identify the task of the Dynamic Modelling workflow. For this task type, the value is always the prefix Domain: followed by the value being modelled, for example, "Domain: LITH".
Column name The attribute that contains implicitly modelled values of the domain task. The attribute may contain one or more values, represented by multiple domain task items. See Configure Domain Task.
Default value

The default value of Column name (see above).

Note: This isn't the modelled value represented by the task item necessarily, it is simply the default value of the data object (all data table attributes have a default value).

Default value file colour The fill colour used when creating wireframe volumes in the combined solid, where the modelled attribute is also the default.
Properties for [wireframe volume domain task item name]
Name The name of the domain task item used to process an implicit volume. You can edit this.
Status

The latest status of the object, which can either be:

  • Succeeded

  • Succeeded with warnings

  • Waiting

  • Failed

For more information on task statuses, see Process the Workflow.

Symbolic Name

The label used to identify the data object associated with the task in a macro.

You can edit this value to match the expected IN value of your automation macro. See Integrate Modelling Macros.

Enabled

If checked, the workflow item is processed when the workflow is processed.

If unchecked, the task item is ignored during workflow processing.

Locked

If checked, the task item is locked during processing.

If unchecked, the task item is processed as expected during processing (depending on whether it is enabled or not - see above).

See Process the Workflow.

ObjectGUID

An internal identifier representing the data object associated with the task. Read-only.

Fill value The attribute value modelled by the domain task. You can change this to another value.
Fill colour The fill colour used for the output volume data, and the surfaces within the combined output data, if created.
