Description
Deletes vertices (points) in any selected or non-selected string(s) or point(s) nearest to the cursor.
How to use
Deleting points on a selected string(s) or point(s):
-
Select the string(s) or point(s).
-
Run the command.
If a string is selected, then, in theStatus Bar, the following message is displayed: 'Delete will choose SELECTED STRING(S) only'. -
If a string(s) has been selected, individually select (left-click or right-click) the required string point(s).
When selecting the string points for deletion, only one point can be selected at a time. Clicking anywhere within a 3D window will delete the point, on the selected string(s), which is nearest to the cursor. The user does not need to click adjacent to each point, but just closer to the required point than any other point on the selected string. -
Press <Esc> or click Cancel.
Deleting points on a non-selected string(s) or points:
-
Run the command.
In theStatus Bar, the following message is displayed: 'Delete will choose any STRING or POINT'. -
Individually select (left-click or right-click) the required point(s).
-
Press <Esc> or click Cancel.
Use undo-last-string-edit to undo the last string vertex deletion. |
