Variable Supply Parameters

To access this screen:

  • Scheduling Setup >> Stockpiles and Set variable supply parameters.

  • Scheduling Setup >> External Sources and Set variable supply parameters.

By default, the same stockpile or external source settings apply for all scheduling periods, but you can provide settings for a given period range only. The "supply parameters" in this case are maximum reclaim rate, rehandling cost and recovery adjustment factor.

To define variable supply parameters for a period range:

  1. Click Set variable supply parameters at the bottom of the screen.

The Variable Supply Parameters popup displays.

  2. Select the stockpile or external to modify.

  3. Choose the End Period; this is the period at which supply parameters cease to apply. At this point, they are either superseded by default parameters, or by later period settings.

  4. For the chosen period range, select the Max Reclaim rate. See below for more information on this setting.

  5. Set the period range's SP Recovery Adjustment.

  6. Set the period range's Rehandling Cost.

  7. Click "+" to add the details to the Variable Supply Parameters table.

  8. Click outside the popup window to return to the main screen.

The Variable (stockpiles) or Variable Supply (external sources) setting for the modified stockpile, if it previously displayed No, now shows Yes.
