Description

Project the selected point(s) vertically onto the uppermost surface of the current wireframe object.

The points are projected vertically, regardless of:

  • the current view direction

  • whether or not the wireframe is displayed in the view i.e. wireframe overlay objects which are not displayed are also used when points are projected .

 

How to Use

  1. Select the current wireframe object.

    There are two ways of defining the current object:

    • In the Current Objects tool bar, selected the Object Type, in the Current Object drop-down, select the required obect.

    • In the Loaded Data control bar, double-click the required object (it should then be displayed with bold text).

  2. Select a point(s).

  3. Run the Command.

  4. The point(s) will be moved to the uppermost wireframe surface.

 

 The example below shows the position of selected points before (left) and after (right) projection:
